Chris Corcoran, MS, RD/LD

Chris Corcoran obtained her Masters of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC). Prior to that, she earned her undergraduate degree from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt. with a major in biology and minor in chemistry. She worked as a biochemistry research assistant at OUHSC until she decided to go to graduate school. Chris fell in love with bariatrics while completing her dietetic internship after earning her Masters Degree. She began working for Foundation Bariatric Hospital of Oklahoma (FBHOK) in January of 2006 and her passion for helping patients through the nutritional component of weight loss is evident to all who work with her. She values being a part of a multidisciplinary program that contributes to the long-term weight loss success of the patients.

Chris is a licensed dietician in the state of Oklahoma and is credentialed through the American Dietetic Association. She serves as a guest speaker with the OUHSC nutrition department to highlight the benefits of weight loss surgery and the need for registered dietitians within the field. In addition, Chris frequently gives student interns the opportunity to learn about bariatrics first-hand, in the clinical environment at FBHOK.

She is married with no children, one dog and two cats. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband kayaking and being active outdoors.


Jessica Sawatski, RD/LD

Jessica Sawatski earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Oklahoma with an emphasis on dietetics and completed a dietetic internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Prior to joining the team at the Foundation Bariatric Hospital of Oklahoma, she worked as a clinical dietician for a large hospital system and as a consultant dietitian. Jessica is a member of the America Dietetic Association and the Oklahoma Dietetic Association.

Kasie Sanderson, Nutritionist

Kasie Sanderson earned her Bachelors of Science in Family and Consumer Science with a major in Nutrition and Foods at Texas State University. After excelling in her undergraduate studies she went to work in the department of nutrition at North Austin Medical Center. There she played an integral role in performing nutritional assessments on both medical and surgical patients in the hospital setting. In 2002 Kasie began working with Dr. Tamyra Rogers at the Wellness and Weight Loss Center in San Antonio. Here she focused on nutrition counseling and was the primary author of the Reshape Your Life plan that has helped many patients in the WeightWise Bariatric program reach there nutritional and weight loss goals.

Kasie began working for Foundation Bariatric Affiliates in 2007. She is excited to be a part of a program that offers numerous weight loss options along with the support needed for success. Kasie is married with two children.
